WINE ENTHUSIAST: Rating 91 (Nov 2014)
A nose of honeyed autolysis is most inviting, while the palate does not disappoint with ist bready notes of citrus, fine persistent bubbles and round mouthfeel, yet with that wonderfully zesty focus of acidity. This delivers exactly where it should-on the midpalate and the long, superclean finish that leaves lingering notes of lemon shortbread.

PARKER: Rating 90 (May 2014)
“L” stands for lot notwithstanding, Schloss Gobelsburg’s NV Brut Reserve L10/13 is actually disambiguated by means of its October, 2013 disgorgement date. Based on vintages 2010 and 2009, it, as usual in recent years, comprises Gruner Veltliner, Pinot Noir and Riesling. Alluring scents of saffron and sea breeze, clover and yellow split pea rise from the glass along with finely integrated streams of CO2. Dominated on the palate as well by its majority Gruner Veltliner, this combines vivacity and infectious juiciness with silken underlying texture. It finishes mouthwateringly saline, refreshing, and with subtle green herbal piquancy. Plan to enjoy it over the next couple of years.

TERRY THEISE: Still mostly GV with some PN and Riesling; this was disgorged 01/13 an is majority 2008 with a Little ´09. The disgorgement date is now o the Label. Again it´s a silky and somewhat exotic fizz, with the angles and herb of GV, coloring just outside the lines. You drink Bründlmayer with the schnitzel and this one with the salad.

VIKTOR SIEGL:
This cuvée is unusually dry, and presently, the Grüner inside exudes some hay nuances accompanied by yeasty tones. Confident and fresh at the same time. Very pointed and fun to drink.
