Cool, zesty and stony on the nose, the 2015 Riesling Domaene Gobelsburg open with some smoky flavored white fruit and lemon aromas. It is a medium-bodied, pretty intense and round, yet tightly structured and crisp white wine, and has an attractive stone fruit flavor, pleasant sweetness and good grip in the finish.

With an effect like chopping on clover, the 2012 Riesling Domaene Gobelsburg is simultaneously subtly green and floral, its crisp and juicy apple-y fruit picking up lime peel and apple pip piquancy in a bracing, zesty finish suffused with crushed stone. While not officially Kamptal wine due to the inclusion of some fruit from just across the line into the Kremstal, this typifies Kamptal Riesling virtues, which it should continue to showcase through at least 2015.
Develops amazingly right from the beginning, presenting fine dark fruit tones. Firm and distinctive – lean yet meaty with smoky undertones. Already a nice flowing oily touch and some good length. Astonishing.
Deep and luxuriously intense Riesling aroma with hints of sugar melon and yellow peach. Light to medium bodied with an early harmony. Crisp, clean and radiant with a flawless finish.
